Dear Devotees,

Please find below the changes to the temple activities in the wake of the Corona Virus pandemic.

PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE TEMPLE PREMISES if you are either experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus (such as fever, cough, sore throat, diarrhea, shortness of breath, muscle aches), or if you recently traveled to any high risk countries (such as China, Iran, Italy, South Korea or any other country with coronavirus). We request anyone who has been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) patient, not to enter the temple.

If you recently traveled from high-risk countries, please wait for 2 weeks before you visit the temple.

Currently, the temple is open during its posted hours, and if you consider entering the temple, please know that you are entering at your own risk. All gatherings of 50 or more people is prohibited. There will be no celebration for Ugadi (March 28th) or Sri Rama Navami (April 4th). The decision about other events after April 4 will be made based on the prevailing situation.

While in the temple, please adhere to the following rules:
  1. Please do not touch any of the Idols, Padukas, Kumkuma and Udhi in the temple.
  2. Kumkuma, Vibhuthi, Theertha prasadam and Shatari (satagopam) will not be available to the devotees temporarily.
  3. Please always wash your hands with soap before entering the temple.
  4. Hand washing soap will be made available in the temple restrooms.
  5. Do not shake hands or hug anyone at temple or outside. Offer Namaste instead.
  6. No food will be allowed in the temple, keep the kitchen clean.

Please practice good hygiene such as frequent hand washing etc. to prevent the spread of this virus.

Many responsible agencies suggest minimizing social contact and maintain at least three feet distance between individuals. This social separation is essential to prevent community spread of the deadly virus. People who are 60 years of age or older, and/or with certain medical conditions (such as diabetes, heart condition or lung function impairment) should avoid all social gatherings as it might affect them adversely.

If you need more information Please follow the instructions in the following website: https://www.cdc.gov/handwashing/when-how-handwashing.html

We at GCHS are committed to everyone''s health and wellbeing and we urge to follow the necessary precautions to contain the spread of this virus. We request your full co-operation.

The GCHS Committee will continue to monitor the developments and will adjust the operating parameters as required.

Thanks and Regards

GCHS Committee
